Austin Christian Fellowship of India

Austin Christian Fellowship of India (ACFI) is a Non-Denominational Church meeting the spiritual needs of all people in the Austin metro area.

This Church started as a small cottage prayer meeting fellowship in December 2000 at an apartment complex in Austin. At that time, 3 families staying in the same apartment complex would meet every Saturday to study the Word of God and fellowship.

Later this fellowship was revived in September 2001 and named as Austin Christian Fellowship of India. Ever since, Almighty God has been wondrously enabling the growth of this Church spiritually and in number to reach out to the Austin Metro area and beyond. In early 2003, ACFI was registered as a Non-Denominational Church and a Church Board was formed.

Presently ACFI is actively involved in:
  • Supporting each other Spiritually through a foundation laid on Prayers and personal relationships.
  • Supporting Gospel Missions in the Indian subcontinent financially and through Prayers.
  • Teaching the Holy Scriptures to our children.
  • Reaching out to the local Austin area and spreading the love of Christ.
  • Studying the Word of God to discover the truths and treasures hidden in the Holy Bible.
  • Saturday Worships and Fellowship.
  • Emphasizing the importance of living with integrity and sin free.
  • Being always prepared for the Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We invite everybody irrespective of any discriminations to share the vision of ACFI. Please come join this family of believers for Sunday - 5:00 P.M evening Worship and fellowship. We believe that ACFI will be a Blessing to you.

Let the name of the LORD be praised, both now and forevermore. [Psalms 113:2]

  • The one living and true God, an infinite, all knowing Spirit, Immutable, perfect in all His Attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three persons - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • The sovereignty of God in creation, revelation, redemption and final judgment.
  • The divine inspiration and infallibility of Holy Scripture (by which we understand the 66 books of the Bible) and its supreme authority in all matters for faith and conduct.
  • The universal sinfulness and guilt of human kind since the fall, rendering all human beings subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.
  • Redemption from the guilt, penalty and power of sin only through the sacrificial death (as our Representative and Substitute) of Jesus Christ, in the incarnate Son of God.
  • Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity is coequal, co substantial, coeternal with God the Father and the Holy Spirit. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died voluntarily for our sins, rose again bodily on the third day, ascended to heaven and He is going to personally return to this earth.
  • The necessity of the work of the Holy Spirit to convict the individual sinner, grant him the grace necessary for repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ.
  • The indwelling work of the Holy Spirit in the believer such as administering the gifts for the benefit of the Church and producing Spiritual fruit in the lives if individual believers.
  • The one holy universal Church, which is the Body of Christ, and to which all true believers belong and Christ is the head of this Church.
  • Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are two ordinances that are committed to the local Church. Baptism by immersion is the solemn act of testimony of a believer. Lord’s Supper is the commemoration and proclamation of His death until He comes.
