Statement of Faith

Our Belief – 7 Canons from Creation to His Coming

  1. God is Holy, the I AM, the creator of all things. (1 Peter 1:16; Exodus 3:14; Genesis 1)

  2. There is only One and Only Great God, made manifest in the blessed trinity; God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit, three Persons in One. (Psalm 86:10; Ephesians 4:4-6)

  3. The blessed Trinity created man; both male and female in His own image, in and for His glory. (1 Peter 4:11; Genesis 5:2)

  4. The Bible is the infallible word of God inspired by God which is given for our profit, reproof, correction, instruction and perfection, because all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Romans 3:23)

  5. To be restored into God’s glory, there is only one way, which is to believe in the Son of God, God incarnate, called Jesus who came from heaven, lived on earth, faced every temptation as we do, yet overcame all and lived a life without sin, was crucified, died on the Cross, victorious over the grave and death and its sting, raised from death, and alive today. This we confess with our mouth and believe in our heart. (Luke 3:22; John 10:30; John 3:13; Hebrews 4:15; Matthew 27; Matthew 28; 1 Corinthians 15:50-58; John 3:16)

  6. No other sacrifice except that of Christ Jesus is needed or can restore the relationship of man with God; it is a free gift of God that dispels darkness and shines light, turns bondage to liberty, turn deaths to eternal life, and turns sinners into saints. Salvation is solely by grace through faith alone and not by any work. (Hebrews 10:10; Hebrews 10:1-18; Romans 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9)

  7. Christ Jesus will return at God’s appointed time to reign and rule as the King of kings and Lord of lords and we look forward to His coming, praying that we are both pure and prepared as His bride to receive Him as our bridegroom. (Revelation 19:16; Matthew 25:1-13; Revelation 19:7-9; Revelation 22:20)

Doctrines

Doctrine of Mankind

  • We believe that God created man from the dust of the ground and breathed into him the breath of life and man became a living soul (Gen. 2:7). He was created in the image of God, innocent and holy (Gen. 1:27), and was created a unity of body, soul, and spirit (1 Thess. 5:23). Man was created with the ability to choose right and wrong (Josh. 24:15; Is. 53:6) and given a conscience to reflect the demands of God’s law written on his heart (Rom. 2:14-15).

Doctrine of Sin

  • We believe that the entire human race fell into sin through the willful disobedience of Adam, the first man, created by God, and his sinful nature passed upon all men (Rom. 5:12, 19). We recognize that man’s nature is corrupt (Rom. 3:10-18), that man is sinful (Gen. 3:16; Rom. 3:23) and that all are guilty of the wages of sin, which is death (Rom. 3:19; Romans 6:23). We believe that all men are under the penalty of both physical and spiritual death (Rom. 6:23; Gen. 2:17) and apart from salvation through faith in Jesus Christ will suffer eternal damnation and retribution under God’s wrath and judgment in the lake of fire (Rom. 6:23; Rev. 20:11-15).

Doctrine of Salvation

  • Whoever believes in Jesus Christ, God Only Begotten Son shall be saved (John 3:16) and have eternal life, which is the gift of God (Ephesians 2:8). This Salvation is by Grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ and not by any works of man (Ephesians 2:8) and for all  who are in Christ for them there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1).
